We may have just been treated to a load of days off over Christmas and New Year but attention is already turning to when we can next stay in bed on a Monday morning.
Once going back to work loses its appeal after about 25 minutes of January 2, the mind starts to wander and thoughts of your next holiday take centre stage.
Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little while before we are granted another day off, but we do have seven bank holidays to look forward to over the rest of the year.
After the festive frivolities just gone, we now have to wait till March 30 for the next bank holiday, which falls on Good Friday.
We then have Easter Monday in April, two bank holidays in May, the summer bank holiday in August and then Christmas and Boxing Day in December.
Despite what many had hoped for, we are not getting an extra bank holiday for the Royal Wedding in May, which is very disappointing indeed.
We have already had one of our bank holidays for the year, which fell on New Year’s Day.
